That pretty much describes my ride today, but more on that later.
First, the ups. Got out during lunch today for a nice 1.5 hour ride. We have the ability to use “Doug Time” (the owner) to do a little cycling, skiing, and things of the sort that start at the office once in a while. It isn’t anything that is officially marked down or anything like that, but for the most part, people don’t abuse it. Today was my first stab at using some. It looked like it was an ok day, so off on the roadie I went. About 30 windy, windy miles, I rolled back into the office. There are a couple nice lops that leave from the front door of the office, and I can’t wait to take advantage of them. Coach told me to just head out, forget about heart rates and power up some hills. So power up them I did. Legs felt snappy, if the wind would have just died down a little.
Now, the downs. So to track all my recent adventures, I have been using my trusty Garmin Edge 705. Well everything seems to be working fine. I turn it on, it logs everything and I can see all the data on the unit. Then I come home, NADA. It is on the unit, but there is nothing I can do to get it off of it. I tried resetting, rebooting, re-everything-ing. Too bad nothing works. I hate to say it, but I feel like I might need to send this little sucker back. I have heard that the Garmin Connect site (the one I use to download it) has been a little wonky, but I tried about 5 other services and nothing. I am starting to run ot of options and don’t want to lose any of my data….oh well…guess thats what happens with technology.

Nice site, and I really dig the pictures of the snow. As much as I love riding I like XC skiing just as much and I am bummed to say I just put cover wax on all my skis. We are going to continue to use the blog, face, mtbr as social sites nothing required but feel free to pop in on any of them and talk it up. You can also send me any pics or videos you want posted on these sites
