Last Sunday, out on my snow bike ride, within the first 2 minutes of pedaling, I cracked my knee pretty hard on my stem. For those of you out there who has done this, you know it hurts pretty bad, especially if it is a square hit. I felt it a tad over the last couple of days, but nothing major. Nothing I couldn’t work around. But as things are healing up, it seems to be getting a bit worse. In my mind, it wasn’t that bad.
Tonight’s workout was designed to build some core strength. So it is some weight lifting and things of that nature. The second I started to do one of the squats, I felt the immediate pain. I decided not to do that exercise and on to the next. Same thing, on to the next, and so on and so forth until I was at the last exercise and haven’t done anything. So here I am with some ice on the knee and hoping for the best. It certainly is a weird one. I did the same exact workout on Tuesday and everything was fine. Rode the bike last night, fine, but today, its just not happy. Ohh well, I guess nothing I can do about it. I would rather have it now than sometime still in July.
