2 for 1 day

Today was scheduled for a 3 mile run for my training schedule, but my boss asked me about going for a bike ride.  I couldn’t pass it up.  So I went.  We left work a little early and went out for about 45 minutes.  Not all that great of a ride, as I thought we would go much longer but either way, a ride is a ride.  We did about 6 or so miles.  When I got home, the run was on my mind, so I ate dinner, let it settle, and got suited up for battle.  Here are the stats:

3.33 miles in 30.52 with a 9.18 pace burning roughly 500 calories.

I felt good.  I don’t know if it was the bike ride getting my legs loose, the angry music I was listening to, or the beer boiled/cooked bratwurst I had for dinner, but I didn’t feel as if I was “huffing and puffing” during the run.  I am sure tomorrow will be a completely different story.
