I’m off the bike

Well a few CT scans and some other tests will tell me exactly what size of stones we are dealing with.  I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon to talk about it and also what my options to get them out of me are.

I spent all weekend doing essentially nothing, mostly because my side hurt too much.  It feels like a super intense side sticker or like I was poked in the side with a hot poker.  Not such a good time.  The thing I struggle with most is the fact that no matter how I position myself I can’t get the pain to ease up.  Normally with a pulled muscle or something like that, you can sit or lay a certain way and the pain fades.  With this, nothing.  All they can tell me to do is drink “lots of water”.  Great medical advice.  I don’t think I will be on a bike until this is out of me.  If the jarring that happens when I walk hurts it, I hate to see what a good mountain bike ride will do to it.  Doesn’t sound like a whole lot of fun to me.
