Physical Therapy

So yesterday was my first major day for physical therapy.  I always thought it was just for seriously injured people out of serious accidents and little old ladies.  Well, I am wrong.  I have a bit of a back/hip problem, and we didnt even do much with those parts of me.  We concentrated on muscles and such around those areas.  I thought I was in decent shape with my core muscles and such, but boy I was wrong.  Using one of those big exercise balls, some medicine balls, and some snazzy looking ankle weights, my therapist worked me over hard core.  I am now a firm believer, as my abs now hurt this morning, and my back and hip feel much better.  I think if I can keep these exercises up, I will be a better overall athlete and cyclist and after all, that is the whole point to this now isn’t it??
