Today was quite the day. First Kelly and I went to the hospital for a little while because my boss and his wife just had a little baby. Little Cooper. Here is the little guy with a proud new papa.

After that we went out to eat and I came home and started working on my bikes. I spent more than 5 hours cleaning bikes. I haven’t spent that long working on bikes since I quit the shop I worked at. I miss working on bikes. I really do. I started cleaning bikes up for the bike ebay sale I am going to have this year. I am reducing stock of mine. Selling 4 mountain bikes and a road bike all so I can get a new mountain bike or 2. The rule with the misses is that if I want to buy something, I need to sell something first. Sounds good to me. Its always is a good idea to get rid of the bikes. The older something is in this industry, the harder it will be to sell. So tonight I stripped down some frames and cleaned them up, keeping the parts (wheels, chains and such) for myself to put on the new bikes. Good time. Tomorrow I will be taking pictures of plenty of things and get them going on Ebay. In these next few weeks, I am hoping to clean out the basement as it is getting cluttered with bike parts. I will keep things posted on here as well in case there are any bike lurkers reading this site looking for a good deal.
Tomorrow I plan on riding. Sure we got about 12 inches of snow here yesterday, but I don’t care. Today it rained a bunch so it seems as if the road are clear. Sure they may be wet but I don’t care. I am getting stir crazy not being on my bike and I don’t have the heart to get back on the trainer. One day of 50 degrees temps does that. I have decided that if it is over 25 degrees, I will try to get at least 40 miles in. That is if it doesn’t rain.
One other quick mention. Kelly, my fiance, has made her first website. It is all about photography and the pictures she takes. She is wicked excited about it, spending the last 2 days building, changing, and messing around with it. Go check it out. She is as happy as it gets when she sees another visitor on her site.
