Time-hour or so plus having dinner.

Last night Kelly and I walked into town to do a little shopping.  It was nice to walk in and not have to deal with cars and parking and such.  Plus we got killer deals on some great gear at EMS so it was all certainly worth it.

First time on the Mountain bike since my little hand problem. It felt good to be on the bike in the woods, and even though there was about an inch or so of snow, plus frozen solid ice as well.  It is certainly weird riding through that much snow and ice without studs on my tires.  It is very comparable to riding in sand the entire way.  I didnt average the highest speed, but I got one hell of a workout, and thats the point.  It is always nicer to be outside than it is to be in on the trainer.  I felt confident with my hand and wasn’t at all concerned about falling and injury again.  Thats the tough part.  The mental part of the recovery.  Everytime I snowboard, I am always nervous about falling.  Seems to me to stay off the snowboard and keep on the bike.  Besides, thats where my heart is anyway.
